Children can enter PS 1 The Courtlandt School through the citywide application process facilitated by the New York City Department of Education (DOE).

Families applying for 3K, Pre-Kindergarten, or Kindergarten must complete the centralized application process through the NYC DOE, listing PS 1 as a preferred choice on their application.

In accordance with NYC DOE policy, children who are currently enrolled in PS 1’s 3K or Pre-Kindergarten programs are given priority (after siblings) in the Kindergarten admissions process.
